Important news!
Our roles have changed! Due to the success of the Ambassador program and the
need to incorporate the Ambassador program further into the Short Term
Department of AIM, they have asked us to become the Field Support Department
managers.
We will still remain heavily involved with the Ambassador program, (now called
Youth Individuals) but our role will look a little different. We have
been given the responsibility of all the leaders, project leaders, field
leaders and worship leaders who fall under the short-term trips. We are blessed
to have the opportunity to disciple leaders who will be impacting the lives of
not only youth individuals, but also youth groups, adults, families and college
students.
We are excited about what this holds and working with a whole new group of AIM
staff and leaders. Our role is to recruit, train, coach, lead and debrief all
these leaders who lead within AIM’s short-term department. We will be working closely with the Department managers of Set-Up, Admissions and Training. As needed, we will
be on the field leading, supporting and coaching.
With this said – we NEED you. Here’s how you can be a part and help.
1. Pray for leaders, the ministries and us as we transition
to our new role.
2. Follow our blog for updates and direct others to
it. We will only be sending letters once a year at Christmas to save money.
3. Click to the left and support us. This last
year, we have lost our only 2 supporting churches due to the economy and their
need to either cut back or support other missionaries, ministries, etc. This
leaves us short $6,000 a year; in addition to the other $300 we are already short
a month. Please pray about how God would have to you support our
ministry.
4. We are struggling financially due to medical
bills from the last year. Please pray for God’s provision and healing for
our current health situations.
5. We are tired and are in need of rest. Please
pray that God would give us the extra energy need to carry out His calling on
our lives. Tomorrow we head to Michigan to visit friends, churches and celebrate another wedding.
Thank you all for joining us in this adventure. For your friendship and
prayers. We thank God for you!
Blessings,
US – the rocks.
