As many of you know Connie and I are in the midst of traveling. We are meeting people and sharing our call to missions.
It has been a real joy connecting with so many people who have had an impact in our lives and ministry over the years.
It’s interesting to see how each person has played a significant part in our faith journey.
As we talk with people and reminisce about the past –
it comes to light how every single person has had a part to play.
There are many stories of how their lives have contributed to ours.

These people range from family members who have been in our lives from day one (our parents).
Then there are the friends that we went to school, church, work, and just about everything else with.
We have also been able to reconnect with some of the parents and students that we have ministered too and with over the past 13 years.
And who can forget those people who have ministered to us like Sunday school teachers, small group leaders, bosses, mentors, and many others.

We see each of these relationships as priceless (you know – like the MasterCard commercial).
We realize that some of these relationships that God has blessed us with – because of time, distance, and the busyness of life, we have not kept in touch as we would like.

I remember a student from our church in Delaware once tell me the only thing that they believed that they could take with them after death – was their relationships.
I believe there is a lot of truth to that statement. God has called us into relationship with Him and has created us to be in relationship with the people around us. As we travel around, meet with, call, e-mail, and whatever other way that we make contact with you – please know the value we place on your life and the impact it has had on us. Thank you.
