In the last couple of weeks while visiting friends and family, we have been able to share about our new adventure that we are beginning with AIM. It’s been fun to reminisce but also to get caught up on the relationships with those we’ve lost touch with.
Many of you have shared the stories of your lives with us. There have been stories of great joy and great tragedy.
Stories about love lost and new love found.
We have heard about children growing up and going off to college.
Students who were in our first youth group that are now in missions themselves. We have also seen the excitement when people speak of their many adventures with their children/grandchildren. There have been stories of great kindness and also great cruelty. Stories of miracles!
We grow in all times; learn in all times…it’s all in how we handle what we’ve experienced.
Each of your lives provides great encouragement and gives us hope when we walk through times of discouragement.
In all of this – we know “that God is there”. We met with a friend who reminded us of this over and over and over and over. There is something special about hearing “God is there”, “God is here”…(said with a Romanian accent).
Thank you all for sharing your stories, experiences, joys and sorrows with us and encouraging us by becoming a part of ours.
Finally i am respoding to a blog. My first one so be gentle. What can i say about you too?
You are great and do not forget: HE IS ALWAYS THERE 🙂
