Some of you may have heard that at the last minute the originally scheduled leader (Brandi) for the Jeffery’s Bay Real Life Team (RLT), had a family emergency and went home to be with her family. The Coordinator of Real Life Teams was looking for someone to fill in…we were asked to pray about this possibility. Here’s what happened –
No, we are not in
Jeffery’s Bay, South Africa. Yes, we are disappointed but also thrilled to see how God answers prayers! We prayed that God would provide a leader – someone with more experience with the Real Life Teams… someone who could commit to the full 2 months. We are newbie’s who could only commit to 2 weeks…but were willing to go!
The day before departure, a gal who has previously lived in J.Bay and who has lead RLT before, was able to fly in for the full 2 months! We were prepared to pack it up…and head into the “unknown”. Perhaps it was a bit like Abraham on the mountain with Isaac… a time of testing. BUT God provides!…although often very last minute. Please keep the J. Bay team in your prayers… Brandi and her family. We have a couple of address changes
.
My parents (whom we continue to “mooch” off of), have bought a home in Gainesville. We ALL move in this weekend. So beginning June 25 we will have a new mailing address.
Below is a letter from Steve Basden, Director of Operations… in regards to the NEW ADDRESS for all donations received.
At Adventures In Missions we take our obligation to be excellent stewards of donated funds very seriously.
Consequently, we continue to look for ways to maximize the effectiveness of each dollar donated.
To that end we are changing the way donations are received and processed.
Effective immediately we will receive all donations that come via U.S. mail at a new address.
Adventures In Missions, Inc.
P.O. Box
534470
Atlanta
, GA 30353-4470
This change will decrease the amount of time it takes to process donations and increase the speed at which donated funds are available for ministry.
Please make note of the new address and begin using it for all donations you send to Adventures In Missions.
Donations made via credit card or automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank account will not be affected by this change.
For all correspondence with AIM that does not include a donation, please continue to use our mailing address in Gainvesville, GA.
The new address above is for donations only.
Thank you so much for your continued support of the ministry at Adventures In Missions.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
God bless,
Steve Basden
Director of Operations
