12:47 a.m. Dr. Kim just came out to give us the good news! Surgery is over and she did pretty well. Laura has a NEW liver…Praise God! In the next hour they will move her back to her room…We are feeling good (but tired) and very grateful!

Laura will remain sedated for about four days.  It's a long road to recovery. (See previous blog)

Please pray for the following items:

Her body will accept the liver.

Come out of it after 3-4 days without brain damage.

The pneumonia…and overall stability in all functions.

The liver donor's family. (She was a 65 year old woman from Northern MI)
