We’ve recently returned from our time in Nicaragua. Thank
you for your prayers. Granada, Nicaragua is a beautiful place…reminding us a
bit of Antigua, Guatemala.

The FYM (First Year Missionary) team is doing well. The
girls live in one house while the guys live in another, just blocks away. Construction is on the way at El Puente where
come January they hope to all live on the same property. Their weeks are filled with classes in the
morning, Bible studies and recently community health awareness education. In the afternoon, some teach English, some
coach soccer…and many are involved in Young Life. Free time is Saturday…when they head to Euro
café for internet access so they can communicate with family and friends back
home.

Please continue to pray for the team and leaders, Tana and
Jaime as they are there until the 19th of December, returning home
for Christmas and back to Nicaragua for the remainder of the 5 months immersed
in the community of Granada.

We are excited about the transformed lives, local men…being
delivered from addictions in Granada, and all the new relationships with Christ!
We are looking forward to what 2009 has in store for this group of missionaries
and the people of Granada. God willing, we’d like to return in March.
